Thank you for nominating your favorite local non-profit!
Nominations are closed and the 2026 winner for a Paint It Forward FREE PAINT JOB is....
Old Mill Center for Children and Families
Four classrooms, a lobby, hallways, and pressure washing, all in one very full day.
Every year, Fitzpatrick Painting & Construction gives away a full paint job to a local nonprofit that deserves support and recognition. This year that organization is the
Old Mill Center for Children and Families in Corvallis.
Old Mill Center serves more than 2,000 children and their families across Linn and Benton counties every year. They work from the prenatal stage on, connecting them to resources and parenting support, running an integrated preschool where typical and non-typical learners share the same classroom, and providing pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy, mental health counseling, and art and clay therapy.
That's a building in constant use. Which is exactly the problem: a nonprofit running programs five days a week can't shut down for a week to repaint. The work gets deferred, year after year. And so, we did it for them!
What We Painted
- Four classrooms
- The lobby
- The hallways
- Power washing across several exterior areas, including the playground

- Imagine Coffee kept everyone caffeinated.
- Jeremy Ito at Story Design captured the whole day on camera

The Boys and Girls Club of Albany
The Boys & Girls Club of Albany has been an important part of the Albany community since 1966, providing local children and teens with a safe, positive place to learn, grow, and build meaningful connections. The Club offers affordable after-school and summer programs designed to support education, health and wellness, character development, leadership, arts, sports, and recreation.
Beyond its youth programs, the Club helps meet important needs for local families by providing meals and snacks, affordable childcare opportunities, organized athletics, and even no-cost dental services for uninsured children. Its programs are designed to give young people opportunities to develop confidence, life skills, healthy habits, and the tools they need to become productive, caring, and responsible members of their community.
In 2025, Fitzpatrick Painting was proud to select the Boys & Girls Club Of Albany as a recipient of our
Paint It Forward giveaway. Supporting an organization that gives so much back to Albany's children and families was a meaningful opportunity for our team to use what we do best to give back to the community we call home.

Family Tree Relief Nursery
The Family Tree Relief Nursery is a nonprofit organization that helps families stay together as a family unit. It has been in the community for 15 years. They offer many programs including early childhood programs, drug and alcohol recovery, and parent education. They also help in-home, by training parents and families to develop skills to keep their children safe.
They have continued to help and do as much as they can during the COVID-19 outbreak. They’ve modified their programs to keep everyone safe during a very trying time. They created videos to continue to help, turned their fundraising events virtual, and did food deliveries for those that needed it.
Tim Fitzpatrick got to sit down with Renee and talk a little about what they do and what they need to help them continue to do their work. We look forward to working with them to get their building updated and working with our community to help out such a great organization.
