What type of siding does your home have? How old is the siding? The type of siding on a home will greatly affect the longevity of a paint job as will the age of it. How big are the overhangs? The bigger the overhangs, the more protection from the elements. Is it a two story or a one story home? Two story homes are exposed to the elements more than single story hence the paint will deteriorate more rapidly. These are only a few of the many things that affect how long your paint job will last.
